Cabin Leak

For the past two and a half years I have been searching for the cause of my wet v berth cushions and subsequent mildew. After a two leaking hatches and a couple of reseals of the same (which still has an occassional drip) I have been able to locate another source...the roof mounted rod holders.
Now, what to do? What is the best way to seal the mounting screws, 5200 or something else?

A good silicone caulk should be sufficient.

FYI, My 250 Mako had a Bomar hatch that leaked. After chasing forever it turned out to be a nearly invisible razor cut in the hatch gasket. Changed out the gasket and it never leaked again.
