Canvas Hard top

Hey Guys! My 24 Grady has an aluminum hardtop frame thats finished with a dark blue sunbrella softtop. How can I go about mounting accessories ontop of the canvas, without compromising its integrity. First off, I want to install an LED mast/anchor light, and possibly radar. How do you go about doing this with the soft top. I'm sure others have similar setups, and I'm tired of mounting stuff on the tops rail?

Most of the time items are mounted to the aluminum frame and sometime there’s is an arch that is made to hold the heavier things like radar.

I don't have a bimini. Essentially I have a hard top, except the top is not 'glass. Its sunbrella canvas. An arch is not a possibility.

well then can you remove the cloth and add a fiberglass top?

Yes. If I wanted to spend the money, and add the extra weight.

Have a look on the Atlantic Towers website at the following link: http://www.atlantictowers.com/products_ ... S_2007.php - they make mounting brakets that fit below the trampoline cover to mount thinks like radar, etc. I think they are made from King Starboard.
