I am thinking about purchasing a new 2012 Canyon 306 with twin F350's. I do most of my boating in the Northeast (Connecticut coast) and want to hear from existing owners on how you like this boat? Here are some of the questions I have and thanks in advance for your help:

How does it handle the open water?
Does the boat run at a top speed of 56 mph per the performance report?
How are the F350's on this boat? Are they too heavy? How much of the engine stays in the water when the engines are tilted all the way up?
How roomy is the head area?
Where is the lockable road storage? Looks like it may be on the gunwales, but not sure?
Any other benefits, or criticisms to this boat?
Can you share some of your own pictures of the boat?

Thanks again.

I have a lot of time in a 306. I would probably order the f300 instead of the f350, due to weight and fuel consumption. However, if you want to impress your friends and have extra speed, then the f350s are for you. I repowered with the f250Bs due to the proven history and less upfront cost. Works great for me, 45 mph loaded, cruise at 30 mph getting 1.5-1.7 in the waterway.
