Just saw that Atlantic Marine has the first production 336 Canyons with Triples. They have one with 350s and had one or still have one with Triple 300's.

Just wondering what the performance and fuel economy numbers are? Would love a ride on the ones with triple 350s after they are broken in... :D

The Grady White performance data for:
Triple 300's is 26.7 MPH at 4000 RPM, 1.29 MPG; 20.8 GPH
Triple 350s is 29 MPH at 3500 RPM, 1.35 MPG; 21.4 GPH
I got those numbers from the Grady White site: gradywhiteboats.com

thats hard to believe for the triple 350's

I have a 336 w/ twin 350's. gets 1 mile per gal at anywhere from 3500-4000 rpm doing 30 mph...i can get 1 mpg loaded for offshore at 4,000 rams at 4200 i drop to .9 mpg. I have never seen 1.2 gal/mi ever! I don't have cruise speed of over 1 mpg.I thought max HP was 700 unless the new boats are rated higher (I have a 2008)

do you think three engines get better fuel economy than two? Would be interesting to see what the test boat has in it- I have genset, full tank, enclosure, radar, FLIR , so pretty loaded with stuff.

Those numbers are for Twins, not Triples.

The triple performance numbers are not on the website.

Oops, he is right, I got the twin numbers mixed up with the triples I looked at!

BTW, love this boat, great ride, great at drift, the genes, etc all come in handy. had a full enclosure made for fall bass fishing, comes in handy when offshore on bad days, too

based on the original post, I went on the GW site ti see what changes they had made to the 336- it is still rated for 700HP , maybe the boat you saw was a 366?

Yes, that was a 336. It went to Atlantic Marine in Wrightsville Beach NC. Never heard the numbers, though. It is on their Facebook page back in early August.

To gotagrip

I was wondering, what props you are running? I have 19-XL 16 1/4 on twin 350's

Thx
