I have never boated off Cape Cod, but I might go down to West Yarmouth to visit friends this week. They are not boaters, but I thought they might enjoy a day out on the water. Can anyone recommend a good all tides launch, public or private that I could launch my Adventure 208? In or very close to West Yarmouth is best. Also, any destinations or places to see by boat? Thanks

Will you be on the Cape Cod Bay side or the Vineyard Sound (south) side? On the Bay side, Barnstable harbor has a good facility (although it may be under construction). Sesuit harbor in Dennis has a very nice facility.

From either of those facilities a nice trip is to Sandy Neck beach at the entrance to Barnstable harbor which has a massive sand bar at mid-low tide. Great spot to anchor and hang out. If you are more adventurous, you could head due north to Provincetown, I'm thinking about a 15-20 mile run or go NE to Jeremy Point that is the tip of the barrier beach protecting Wellfleet harbor.
