I can pick up a Carry On A/C for a cheap price locally. Has anyone ever used one of these? The wife and I only camp on the boat a couple nights a year, and A/C would make her happy. I have not been able to find out if the Honda EU2000 willl power this unit. Thanks!

I have a 5K BTU on my Marlin and it works great. They are quite expensive new, over a grand with tax. I purchased my used on e bay a few seasons ago and have used it the past 2 summers. I use only on shorepower so not certain what size generator you will need to use on the hook.

There's a lot on this if you search. The Sailfish guys typically put the generator on the starbord side of the swim platform. The Honda EU1000 seems to work just fine. I wouldn't leave the AC unit on the hatch will underway.
