Have any FL Grady owners completed this process?
Did it make clearing customs back in US easier?

Take the time to get it. It will save you a couple hours of time on the return home.

Makes clearing super fast and easy. Quick phone call and you are done. If you want to make it even easier (and add a degree of safety to your trip), file the float plan using the CBP website - and of course, when you call to clear coming back, you should have "no changes to the floatplan as filed".

I set my in person appointment for 5-4-11.

Enrolled yesterday.
You get a card with an id #.
Required to submit a floatplan with CBP online within 24 hrs of departure.
Must closeout floatplan online upon arrival at foreign port.
Have to post a return floatplan within 24 hrs of return departure, call in on arrival and closeout the return floatplan online after checking in by phone.
Royal PITA! Wish I knew these details before enrolling.
