Good morning Great Grady Brothers, well after 15 years of owning a 208 and spending a good amount of time on this site with exchanges about everything Grady and beyond, it has been a great journey!! I have sold my best boat and gone over to the other side. I am now the the owner of a new 2023 Hews Craft 210 Sea Runner . extended transom and Alaska bulkhead. Never though I would go aluminium, but ones needs change over time. Just celebrated 79 year on this beautiful planet and found this boat to be a better fit for overnighting and extending the season. My 208 went to a good home with an experienced skipper who I felt good selling it to. I am now installing things I would like in the new boat that came bare bones. Installed the VHF and GPS now approaching the auto pilot install.
Anyway I would like to stay in touch with you all in my early morning cruising of the GG site, still sharing the experiences in spending time on the water....and off.
May your summer be a time of great boating , floating and finding the fish and just enjoying being out on the brine or fresh. Thank you all for the camaraderie and sharing of information. Trapper

Trapper, I am in a similar position, sold the 208 and moved on to another brand. The folks on this board were very kind and welcomed me to stay which I have done. Let me tell you, I have not found a better group, better informed, or as sensible as the Great Grady crew.
P.S. I too am up there in years, a tad younger than you butI needed a boat that better suited my needs and 'limitations':)
Good luck wit your new ride.

Brian, several of us have changed rides, me included, but we haven't been blacklisted yet. It would be a shame if we didn't get to see some of your handywork in your projects, so keep at it. I'm up there in years also and I do wonder a bit at times, just why the devil doesn't want us yet. Don't forget to bless us with pictures of those beautiful inlets up there whenever you can.

Good luck with the new boat, post a few pictures of her when you get a chance.

By all means you're welcome to stay!! I was a member back in 2006 and didn't own my first Grady until 2017, pretty much same situation but in reverse. I fish Lake Erie and am very familiar with Hewescraft boats. If I was to ever go back to aluminum boats, Hewescraft is top of the list.

Thank you all, for the kind words and support. Yes!!! this is without doubt the best site on the internet (planet) for sharing of ideas, camaraderie, and all things Grady, shared with kindness and consideration regardless of experience. So good to be staying as part of this band of brothers.
Unfortunately, I have not got the new yacht wet yet, but will forward some pics on the first dip. Still enjoying installing the mods.
