Chesapeake 290

I am looking hard at a Chesapeake 290 ! Is 250's OK or should I opt for the 300's ?
Any other comments on this boat would be greatly appreciated !!!

250s should be fine, but more is always better.
It is a good boat, but the helm area is tight. If you get it, get the companion seat to give you a little more room.
