Christmas comes early

Lovely lady in the neighborhood just moved to the midwest to be with her kids. The husband passed a few years ago. At a going away party last night the guy helping her pack up her last few things told me she had some fishing stuff to get rid of did I want it. Sure I say, thinking its probably some Zebcos or at best an old Penn level wind. This morning I get a text from the guy that he left the stuff at my garage door. I walk out and find 10 rods some spinning but mostly custom made 6 1/2 foot boat rods and 3 Shimano TLD 25's and a Penn 850 Spinning reel. They need some tlc and new line but what a haul!!

Ditched one spinning, to far gone, and gave away a bait caster. Gonna keep the boat rods. The Penn reel also looks like a goner.

Just got 2 TLD 20's and same custom rods. There may even be more! Maybe I will open a tackle shop.
