cigarette burn on gelcoat?

anyone encountered a cigarette burn on their gelcoat, smooth part, not non-skid? any tips on how to get rid of it? any help would be appreciated... thanks guys!

start with compound like 3m or even Flitz...wet sanding should be your last resort and then compound/polish after wet sanding to bring back the shine

gell coat repair

if it has burned a hole down to the fiberglass you can get a batch of gel coat that is a perfect match to your hull from any grady dealer just give them your hull id number it costs about $25 i did it last season
