I just cleaned the teak on the deck and it turned out great but was a messy job.It was a two step chemical brush on application. I am going to tackle the cabin next. Outside cleaning the teak I was able to wash the wood then let dry, the inside is going to be different. what do you do to keep the chemicals off the the rest of the boat? I have a brush applicator for scrubbing off the grime and I am afraid of dripping on upholstery ect. I am assuming taping and plastic. It calls for hosing off. Do any of you just wipe off the excess and let it dry? Just looking for a tip or two without destroying anything in the process. Thanks, Norm

Yeah I looked it over and realized not a safe bet. I spent an hour and a half removing all the teak in the boat. Gonna give a real nice scrub and oil then see a new looking boat before me.

I removed mine and used Cetol Marine Light on it. I don't think I will have to do it again any time soon. Just easier to remove the interior wood first I think.
