Any ideas on how to re-run a VHF coaxial cable? I have a 268 Islander with a half tower and have to replace my VHF antennae

If you have an existing antenna and cable then it will be super easy. You will use the existing cable as a pull string. You could just tape the new one to the old one and this is the quick way. I personally do not do it that way because sometimes the new cable being the same size as the old can have an issue.

The best way and my preferred way is to pull an actual poly pull string thru and in fact 2. Having a spare will not hurt. Then I use one for the new wire and have an the other one for the future if need be :hmm never know when you may want to add something and you will be glad to have it there. Don't worry about cutting antenna connector off it it is pre-installed. Just buy a new shakspeare quick connect style and redo it it.

Thanks you for the post.

If you need a new antenna but the cable is good, you may be able to disconnect the cable at the base of the antenna and reuse it with a new antenna.
