Any suggestions would be appreciated

Pleas explain what you mean by cockpit cover. Do you mean a helm cover or drop curtains for front, sides, and back? Perhaps you are looking for a storage (no windows) storage cover.

I suppose that you can find a hem cover but if not, any canvas shop can make one. A few things to note. Usually a canvas shop will measure and fabricate a cover but without the snaps. The shop will install the snaps on you actual boat. That makes sure they line up. More importantly, if you have curtains, install them before the helm cover snaps are installed to make sure the snaps are in the right locations. Often the sliding type on the windshield frame will have moved. After the curtains are installed, remove them carefully so that the snaps stay in place and then have the snaps installed in the new helm cover. That way switching between the curtains and the helm cover won't require snaps to be readjusted. I know from experience:)
Here is an example of a helm cover

That is a custom deck cover made by the canvas folks at a marina.I think you only option is custom.

I would like something like this too. I was thinking of something that attached to the stainless rings on the transom so I didn't need to install snaps. I have a grady 228 from 2003. Perhaps others would like to join a group buy!

Have one on my 330. Zips across the top and the sides. The sides can come off which is nice to block the sun and still allow for airflow. Has held up very well - 12+ years and through some 50-60 MPH nor’easters! Snaps every 12 inches on base to connect to boat. Have repairs a few zippers after major storms but no biggie!

I also have a 228 and would be interested in a cover like that too.

I'd give A&J a call. They do all the stock enclosure work and likely could come up with a solution.
