Hi all, Finally found the source (I believe) of the fresh water getting into the foward bilge. The port inboard drain has a leak between the drain and the scupper, so I think the hose is damaged. When it rains, some water leaks out and gets into the bilge and settles forward near the bilge pump. None is seen in the aft bilge. I believe this is because of the wooden stringers running fwd and aft. I tried to find out how to access the hose to repair it, but cannot find a way to get to it. Lifting the cockpit flooring or trying to go thru the generator/battery compartment leads to a dead end. Does any one know how to reach this hose on a 03 Marlin so I can repair it. For the time being, I plug up the drain when not on board so the rain does not get it.
Thanks.
