I have posted before on my experience with cushions. Anyway, here is my latest sewing repair on the backrest cushions on my 2013 226 Seafarer. I think I noted before, the marina where my boat is had ‘their cushion guy’ quote $510 for one side, and graciously $510 for the other side which had not yet come apart. My repair cost $8 for a 5000 mile length of the appropriate thread and a few hours time. I’ll add some pics that maybe will help someone in future in removing these cushions. Two big hooks and 2 sheet metal screws into the stern accessible through what appear to be drain grommet holes. Lousy design.
