Cushon Repair

Hi,
I let one of my children remove the bow cushions on the boat and unfortunately they pulled the middle one a little too hard and the strap to which the snap is attached ripped away from the back side of the middle cushon (front edge snaps) a little.
Both surfaces are the white vinyl used on the top side of the cusions. Has anyone had any luck using glue or some other adhesive on the material?
It was sewed together at the factory.

I took two of mine to an automotive upholstry shop and had the snap straps resewn. They look good as new.

I had some done at a cobbler (not peach) if you can find one...a dying breed.
