Bought a new (used boat) 228 and it has the full swim platform. I want to install a kicker 9.9 yamaha 4s but the platform is in the way. Do I take off buy new and sell this or have it fabricated? Any suggestions or anyone have experience with having a platform cut?

If that's the fiberglass platform on a Grady drive, I believe it is wood cored. It would have to be cut propely and core resealed.

You may make out by removing it for sale or future re-use and install a 1/2 swim platform on the other side.

I have a 228 with the half platform & ladder. I'd like to have the full platform. Maybe we can work out a trade. Where are you located?

Thanks,
Dan
