Darn nice looking Sailfish. Looks like s 3.5' radar and 1/2 tower. Lots of holders. What type of fish are you hunting (didn't recognize the nicknames).

Thanks for the comments.

As far as is it scary up there? No way!!! I would not consider any upgrade on this boat prior to the tower. Manurvering in the harbor is so much easier and hands down visability cannot be beat.

Boneheads around Southern Califiornia are Bonita and Long-Tails are common Threaser sharks. One big difference is the 100 fathom on the west coast is only a few miles off the beach compared to many miles on the east coast! The day we posted this we ended up baiting swordfish rather than Boneheads or Thresers.

The boat has been featured in a new book being published. It is already available as an e-book. It shows the 3KW gen install, inverter, bait tank, outriggers, forward sonar as well as covetional sonar with custom high-speed fairig and other additions.

My wife and our two Black Labs do a fair amount of island cruising and diving for Lobster along with off-shore as well as on-shore fishing. We really enjoy the boat but it could be for sale soon.
