Does anyone know of a simple way to clean between the switches without breaking them?

Interested to see what others say, I use a damp microfiber cloth most of the time. Not sopping wet, just enough moisture to get the salt crystals off.

Look at makeup brushes. All different sizes and shapes and fairly soft bristles.
Out of curiosity, may I ask if you notice your compass needle moving when you flip switches on and off?

Never noticed the compass needle, but will check next time I'm on the boat.

Those switch covers pop off if you need to get in there. They have a tool if you are worried.

I use a damp tooth brush . I keep one in my wash bucket, A lite mist with the hose and all is well

If switch covers pop off, that will solve the problem. Is a tool necessary?

Be careful with cleaning products on the switches. The descriptions can be cleaned off.
