I have a 2000 Gulfstream with the deluxe ladder back helm seats but the L brackets that connect the base to the seat back on the companion seat seem to be slightly bent back. I think the previous owner may have leaned a little too far back and now it has somewhat of a recliner feeling. It really doesn't bother me since I usually at the helm but I would like to repair or replace these brackets. Since they are aluminum I doubt they could be bent back without compromising the strength. What does everyone think? If they can't be repaired I'll buy a new pair but does anyone know if the seats on the boats are manufactured by Wise or Garlick? Also, if anyone has upgraded their seats and has these brackets around please let me know. Thanks.

The seats were made by Pompanette.

You might check with them...I think they will sell you replacement parts.
