Dock fenders and edging

I have just had a new dock built and I want to find some inexpensive dock edging to protect my Grady when I come in hot. Any ideas on where to purchase this. I have checked West Marine and the usual sources but it is really expensive. I am looking for the kind that goes on vertically on a piling.

old fire hose or lash some fenders on the piling.

I agree with the fire hose. Works great. Go to the local station and see if there are any old sections available. You might want to give them a small donation (thats tax deductable) to let them know you appreciate it!
