Dodge ecodiesel for towing (and stopping) a 228?

So I have not got my boat weighed, I'll do that, but I've done a few trips with the dodge. That little 3.0L is a beast, it is fine. The 1500 is a pussy truck compared to my chevy 3500 flatbed, very different trucks. But the dodge does the job, the after market air bags lifted the rear end and then it was fine.
I'm happy with the little dodge, it was an adjustment compared to a bigger truck but I'd tell people that this truck will work. You just need to understand it is a light duty truck and have that extra little bit of don't go fast. I rarely go over 40 with that truck.
