I found a quart of Yamalube ring free plus fuel additive on my boat shelf in the basement. Gotta be at least a year old. Does it lose any of its magical properties over time ??

If you want, I'll take that expired stuff off your hands at no charge so you don't have to pay a recycling fee....

No, it'll be fine. Maybe at some point - but certainly not just a year, or even a few.

I was going to say that and agree to pay postage:)
On the serious side, I have been using the Startron version of ring free for a bout three seasons/ My motor is 20 years old so who knows if it makes a difference. Motor still runs good.
When Ring Free increased to almost 60 bucks a quart I just decided to look at options. Now on a new motor I would probably use the real thing.

I use Marine Techron and have found it as low as $50 /gal. Now $70 on Amazon. I personally believe it to be equivalent to Ring Free, maybe even same stuff.
