Dome Light

Anyone have insight on how to remove the dome light mounted under the electronics box in the helm? The red courtesy bulb is not working and I would like to replace but haven't quite figured out how to do it. Also: where can I get the red bulb from? Thanks...

The bulb isn't really red- its clear with a red boot. If you are careful you can change the boot to a new bulb. The bulb should be easy enough to find. My boot melted a bit and I had a Grady dealer obtain one for me.

The cover will pop off after careful prying in the small slot.

I have had bulb issues and now a bad switch on the light.
I would suggest replacing the lights with LED's. They come in red and white. Cool to temp and will last longer than you will. A few $$ more but a never to return issue.
Access to the light is a small wrench in the elec box and pop the lense cover off to access the fastener head.
