I towed my jet ski to Crab Creek Boat Ramp at Lynhaven Inlet in Virginia Beach Va. to do a little Striped Bass fishing. Unfortunatley my ski would not start today, either the starter or solonoid is acting up. I am glad I did not tow down to North Carolina like I was thinking about a couple days ago.
As luck would have it Ray, on his boat "Havana Banana" was also at the ramp and said "come on and fish with me today!" So even though I was down I still made it out.
We headed out to Cape Henry and trolled mojos, streches and tomics for about four hours, and only managed to snag one spiny dogfish shark. The weather was great for February with SW winds at about 10 knots and air temps climbing to the mid 50's by the time we got back. Water temps around the cape were running about 42.
It is that time of year when you are either in the fish or not, there is no in between. No catching today but I still had a good time with great company.
Here are a couple of pictures I took today.
