After two seasons with the Gulfstream and a lot of docking in tight spaces, I think I've finally got the hang of using the inherent ability to "spin" or rotate the Gulfstream around a bow-stern axis on the boat. Lately I've been practicing my docking without touching the steering wheel and even "the commodore" is impressed. At first I though the engine spacing was too close together to facilitate the use of starboard-forward and port-reverse to turn the hull left and visa-versa to turn right but with some patience and by not using the throttle you can learn to use this for much sharper turns into those tough to enter marina slips.

Which makes me wonder how a Gulfstream with one engine handles the same situation? I believe this twin engine set up have yet one more advantage over the single 300 or 350 engine.
