Mounted my transducer so top of it was flush with bottom of the hull. Seems to be throwing an awful lot of water. Should the bottom of the ducer be flush with bottom of the boat. Will be making this adj. assuming that as long as it contacts the water it should work. Just looking for feedback before hand, don't want to get out there and be without it.

The bottom, (not the top) of the transducer should be approximately 1/8" to 1/4" below the hulls running surface.

I know that's kind of hard to do with a v-hull, but use the center of the ducer as a reference.
