Durable winter boat cover - 255 Freedom with hard top.

Have a 2015 Freedom 255 hardtop single engine.. any thoughts are there for "durable boat covers "- Live in NH(snow) stored on a trailer at my home. Shrink Wrap prices have skyrocketed so looking at other durable options.
 
I have a fisher canvas cover for my 282, 5 years in and going strong. Granted Maryland winters have nothing on your area but it gets pummeled by storms all winter long and seems just fine. I try to make sure any pressure point is softened, towels over the rod holders, things like that. I think paid around 800 for it back then, on this site. I've saved a ton vs shrink wrapping.
 
my neighbor shrink wraps his boat and reuses it for several years.
 
This topic has been covered many times over the years. To summarize. You have the custom covers(Fisher, Fairclough) which will fit perfectly, are heavy material and the most expensive. The mid tier option semi custom options (i.e. carver, seal skin) which you can get online from boat covers direct or PM winter boat covers. These will fit o.k. but not as good as a custom, but are considerably less expensive. Then you have the cheap tarp option. What ever option you choose, make sure its supported well especially if you are in the NE in heavy snow country.
FWIW I have had 2 carver covers one lasted 9 NE winters and was sold with the previous boat, and the current one I have had for 5 winters.
 
For many years I just used 2x4s and saw-horse brackets to build a A frame over my boat. With a big tarp that always shed the snow. You could use a more fitted cover underneath what is essentially a big long tent.
