The nice thing about the new wheel is the ball is pressed in on one of the three spokes. Nice clean look and no strap on the wheel.

We have the Edson on our 226 and it is very handy. Just pay attention on those occasions when you are standing rather close to the helm. It will remind you if you forget.

I bought a cheap one on a gamble. it did not fit because the clamp was round but the wheel is oval in cross-section.
I still cannot bring myself to pay $80 for a good knob

I ponied up for an Edson a few years ago... that thing is HEAVY! I don't mean that in a bad way - far from it - thick/solid SS... it feels like a 1957 Chevy's bumper compared to a 2021 Hyundai. Once you have it in your hand, the price makes sense. And a 50-year warranty to boot!

I'd give them a call and tell them the dimensions of your steering wheel.
