Older furono, want to upgrade to larger display, any recommendations?

I would have to check the model # but super happy with the simrad upgrade a few years ago. I was very skeptical of the internal antennae but it works great / no issues, even mounted under a hardtop. Good luck!

I bought a 2002 330 in 2011 & it had 2002 vintage Furuno electronics. I slowly started to upgrade with a Garmin 5212. I now have all Garmin - two 5212, 24" radome HD radar, B164 (?) transducer, 2 fuel computers (don't remember the model) and Sirius weather. The only component I didn't replace is the Simrad AP-11 autopilot. I will when it stops working until then it remains.

The 5212's are considered old and slow but I am ok with waiting a few seconds for the screen to refresh. I am completely happy with the Garmin network and their customer support has been very good

I upgraded 3 years ago. All Garmin and love it all

Two 7212
Gsd26
Two chirp thru hull
4' 6kw array
Garmin autopilot with smart pump
Ais600
Weather
Two icon 604 radios

I also replaced most of the Furuno gear on my 2003 330 with Garmin. Two Furuno displays at the helm (one 10" and one 7") - I kept the 10" primarily for the radar (still great after 13 years) and put a 7607xsv along with the AP control head and a Garmin microphone. Replaced the 10" display in the tower with a Garmin 7612. Unfortunately, there is just not a lot of real estate at the helm station for two large displays (at least if mixing with older units). That 10" Furuno takes up a LOT of room.
