I'm currently in the market for a 24-26ft CC and came across a 2004 Advance 257 with twin Yamaha 150 4strokes. Aside from searching through classified ads, I'm struggling to figure out if the asking price is reasonable. Boat is on its second owner with ~500 hours on the engines. Boat is trailer kept, but the trailer is not included in the sale.
Given the current market conditions, what value would you give this boat? I haven't traveled to see it in person yet, but I will if I can determine if the asking price is reasonable. (I'm purposefully not posting the asking price as to not bias the responses.)
Also, would I have any issues towing this boat with a 2007 Tahoe Z71? Towing capacity is rated at 7700.
