I have a 2006 Seafarer and when the ignition is shut off I hear a fan noise in the bilge area in front of the gas tank. It lasts for about 20 seconds and then shuts off. Is this a bilge blower that Grady has installed in this model?

My 33 has trim tabs that automatically return to the "up" position when you turn off the engines. Even if they are completely up, I will hear the motor run for about 30 seconds upon shutdown.

My bet is that the boat is equipped with "Auto Retract Tabs". They will return to the "up" position every time the key is cut off. Is the boat equipped with tab indicators also?? If so check them right before you turn the key off and with the tabs in a downward position. Then turn key back on and re-check indicators. If not just turn the key "ON" and lower the tabs while on the trailer.

It's your trim tabs, last for 15 to 20 seconds reguardless if the tabs are use or not
