We live in Washington state and my wife and I just purchased a 2006 282 Sailfish and are taking delivery on Monday the 22nd. We are looking forward to a bigger boat and the power of twin Yammie 250's. We have been running single I/O's for quite a while and hoping the learning curve on twin outboards is not going to be too tough.
If any of you have some good handy pointers or some mods you've used on your 282 the help will be greatly appreciated. We bought Grady White because of the rep and past experience fishing on friends Grady's. Been boating for nearly thirty years but it has been Sea Ray lately and previous to that Four Winns when we lived in California. Will be visiting the blog on a daily basis until summer then we should be on that 282 every available minute.

Welcome to the site. I have found it to be very informative and entertaining. Enjoy that new boat and good fishing to ya.

welcome and congrats on the new Grady. Thats one great boat you have. One day I want to be like you!

Congratulation, that's a great boat for your neck of the woods. The last time I was in Bremerton I stayed on the water and it was pretty cool sitting there in the morning watching and listening to the fishing boats heading out for the day. 8)
