GW has many spots on the boat where screws are held by fiberglass. In areas where routine maintenance requires removing these screws the holes get worn out. I've tried refilling with Marine Tex but soon it also gets worn out. Bigger screws won't work because the heads stick out of the countersink. Has anyone found a fix for this?

You might try to find some SS barrel bolts and ovel head machine screws and imbed the bolts into the fibergalss.

loose screws

Another "fix" I have found was originaly a temporary fix but in truth it lasts a long time...simply put a length of tie-wrap into the rounded out screw hole and replace the screw. It functions like a nylok bolt and can be trimmed to be invisible.
