I flush the engine at the end of every trip. The boat is in a slip, should i be flushing the engine in the up or down position? I think the manual says up position, just curious what everyone else had to say

I always flush my engines for 10 min in the down position then raise it and flush in the up out of water position for 5 min. Thats what I do and it seems to work well.

I always flush my F200 in the down position and store it in the down position, although I only flush it after a weekend of use, not everytime. I guess the best thing to do is ask a dealer or check the owners manual.

Up position - as per manual. If you are on land, either position would be fine.
