FP genset external rubber mounts

the FP site lists "external rubber mounts" as an optional accessory. i took a look at the genset mounting in the boat and noticed that rubber mounts are inside the sound cover, but there are no rubber mounts under the external bolts. has anyone used theses additional mounts under the external bolts to increase sound deadening? i sent an email to gw today to see if there was any reason they are not used - figured someone here may already know. if there isn't a reason not to use them, i intend on installing them in the spring. thx, ron

How tall are the mounts? I don't think i have any clearance, maybe an inch or two.

don't know how tall they are. looks like only about 1 to 2 inches from the picture. gw answered back and said they didn't see any difference when they used them, but there is no reason not to. i'm going to contact FP and get a set for the spring. ron
