Has anybody added a perko water outlet to use after splicing into the freshwater shower hose? I am thinking of installing the outlet, similar to saltwater washdown to flixh engines when.on mooring. I would use a garden hose and a ball valve to divert the flow from the stern shower head to the hose

Not perko but I added a second FW outlet under the SW on my Seafarer. I still plan to use the Cockpit shower most of the time and move the hose from the SW to the FW when I want to do a bigger FW washdown. My first trip out I discovered I messed up the SW connection so just kept the hose connected to FW the whole time, worked great.
The other idea I thought of (afterwards) was to put the FW on the opposite side of the cockpit and run two hoses.
