Fuel burn '88 sailfish

Just curious if anyone with a similar set up has calculated fuel burn #'s. My fuel guage is unpredictable and i dont have a flowscan so figuring it out myself isnt working.

1988 sailfish 252
twin 2003 Yamaha HPDI 150 HP each.

I am just looking for aproximate #s...most at the 20-25knot range. Trying to figure out the boat's range for future fishing trips.

I have a 1989 252 Sailfish w/twin 1996 Yamaha 150 Saltwater Series.

At about 3200 RPM cruise, I get about 15 - 16 GPH on my floscan gauge. Seems about right judging from my gas bills.

I would hope your results are better than mine.

I was hoping to see better numbers than that! i have a new northstar 210 fuel computer on route. what speed are you moving at 3200 rpm? i have no idea how the hpdi's compare to your outboards either.

I have the same hull but lighter due to no kitchen area and bathroom stuff. I run twin 200 hpdi and at 3800 rmp Im at 24 knots and burning around 16.5 gph.
