fuel leak

I have a 94 sailfish with twin 175 mercs when I am back at the dock and raise the motors the port side drops about one ounce of fuel onto the bracket the other side stays dry I have taken the cover off but cant see where its coming from any ideas. thanks

Are your spark plugs tight enough? Check where they screw in, one may not have sealed correctly or was overtightened, that would give you the amoutn of fuel you talk about to leak. I had a mechanic do that once on an older engine and it would leak like you state. If not check your lines at the clamps, you may have a leak but you should notice the engine not running well if air is getting in and fuel is leaking.

How are the fuel lines? If there is any question replace them.
