thinking about adding a Green Marine fuel whistle to the boat to help signal audibally when the tank is full and avoid any spillage(s).

This simple device ($25-40) gets sspliced inline on the vent line (normally 5/8").

i'm 900 miles fr boat and can't easily look for the location of my vent line, can someone chime in and let me know the location and accessibility of the vent line for me?

much appreciated in advance!

My 272 had self venting fills no vent line.
When the o ring fails the fills leak water into the tank.
I replaced my fills with traditional fills and vent lines.

I've got a Marlin but I'd say they're similar...the vent is combined in the fill hole...
