Owning 1 of these refrigerators will require you to replace the water filter. They are often made with a bright color so that you can distinguish them from the filter.

Eliminate the guesswork, get the ones with the clear bowl that you can drain. Still replace the filter element regularly. At least once per year but youll know how much water you got at all times.
