Full Glass Enclosures on GW Express Models

I really like the full glass enclosures on the newer Express models. My "06 Marlin's canvas covers have gotten scratched and beaten up and have always been difficult to keep clean and maintain. You may think I am nuts but has anyone considered modifying their GW from canvas enclosure to the glass enclosure?

I would like to see that... I'm sure it would be expensive... but not as much at buying a new 360
