Garmin 4212

I am looking at purchasing the Garmin 4212 for my Chase. I had the Garmin 2006 on my old boat and loved it. Do any of you have the 4212 model? If so please let me know what you think. I am also considering the 3D option, can you tell me if it's worth the cost. I appreciate any advice you all can offer for a chartplotter.

I have the 4208 and GSD22. Very happy with both. The display is much better than the previous 22xx;32xx models. Fingerprints wipe off easily and the display is easy to read in sunlight with polorized glasses.

Operation is very intuitive, like but slightly different than the 2206.

I recently installed a 4212 with GDL30A for XM weather on a friend's Hunter 380. It is a really nice unit, with well-done interface and great display. He has the 3D Vision chip - it's interesting but really slows the screen refresh.
