Garmin echo Map 70dv

Anyone have any experience with the Garmin EchoMap 70dv?
West Marine had them on sale for $649........seemed like a good price!

Looking for pros/cons

I picked up the 741xs for $899 plus 12% rebate ( no x ducer)
I looked at the 70dv but preferred the connectivity of the 741xs.
Look at the ports on the back. NMEA 2000, NMEM 0183, radar, 12 pin and 8 pin sonar ports, data.
I really like the two sonar ports and NMEA 2000 for fuel meters, ext antenna, second station GPS, and would like to one day have radar.
741 seems more expandable and was my choice even though more dough was required.
The 70 is good if you don't have a need to network, but who knows, a couple of years it will all change again (wireless connectivity)

I too compared the two and also bought the 741 for the same reasons mentioned above.

That's what I was looking for..........don't plan on networking.
