I was wandering how many gallons the gas tank holds and what is the best, most accurate sending unit you can buy. The current sending unit is a Yamaha I have tried to adjust the arm for a more accurate read with no luck.

The main tank should be 93 gal, the aux 50-some odd. I found the best gauge is a calibrated fuel flow gauge, one that keeps it simple and gives you fuel flow and fuel used. No bars, no lights, just numbers ...

jmbage is correct. Only an accurate fuel flow meter will give accurate readings.
Although the WEMA senders are one of the best ones out there, the reality is that there are so many factors than affect tank readings, the largest one being the angle of the tank and that changes as load changes, trim changes, and weight distribution change.
Have you passengers move aft and watch the fuel level rise. Move forward or come onto plane and see the level drop.
It just simple physics.

My current sender is a fairly new Yamaha sending unit just put 50 gallons from an empty tank. It only reads 1.3 rd tank I removed sender and tried to bend arm slightly with no luck . All connections are good , the hole seems to distort the arm when I replace it . All is level , The sender does not move much. Hate to by another onebut may go with a straight sender. Does wema make these for my tank and how hard would it be to hook up ?
