I have an 1988 overnighter I would like to replace the gas tank. The label says it is 65 gallons, it goes about a foot or so under the deck beyond the hatch cover toward the captain seat. It appears I can slide the tank aft once I remove the rear blocking. Can I remove the tank without cutting the deck? It looks tight.

I have been searching for tips on replacing the tank, if anyone has a link pls foward.

Thanks

I have replaced a tank before.Your going to have to cut the lip around the deck, minor cut. When new tank is ordered, narrow the tank one inch.
