Gauge compatibility - Yamaha/suzuki

Can anyone speak to the compatibility of these engines using the same gauge? Would be dropping '02 Yamaha f225 and adding '07 Suzuki df250. Cable controls are compatible. Trying to simplify a repower. Thanks for any input!

I wouldn't expect the gauges towork since the DF250 has different signals than the Yamis. For example there is a water pressure signal on the Zuk but hot on the Yami display (assuming Digital gauges)
Same may apply for temp ( Many Yamis have alarm but not actual temp display). I have no idea if oil alarms are similar
More importantly, the existing harnesses wont work and don't forget that its not only the gauges you need to worry about, you also need the ignition switch connections, audible alarms, neutral safety as well as the motor trim signals at the control.
I would assume that nothing is going to work and that new harnesses, gauges and maybe controls are needed.
One more item to consider is the transom mounting holes. I can't say for sure if the template is the same.

Seller sent everything with the motor due to his fly by wire upgrade to DF300 and didn't have any need for any of his '07 stuff - great deal!
