Going to the Grady Palooza

The Chesapeake Bay Grady White Club sponcers the annual Grady Palooza at Knapp Narrows Marina next weekend (8/16-8/19). We'll be taking out new Freedom 225 to the party. We will overnight in the marina motel and keep the boat at the marina floating dock. This will be our first overnight where we travel by boat and I'm at a loss as to what to bring and not bring. We have decent dry storage on the boat, but I'm sure the wife will use it all. any suggestions?
 
I did the DelMarVa Peninsula Loop a few years ago from the C&D and back to where we kept our boat on Delaware Bay.It rained almost the whole time so be sure to bring dry clothes in a sealed container like a big ziplock,shoes if you wear them,rain gear etc. It's not much different than going anywhere else just on water and an experienced sailor like yourself should have no problems.You can save some space by rolling whatever clothing you can up and storing it (from an ex Navy friend) and you won't need much anyway.The best thing to bring is an upbeat and positive attitude and everything else will fall into place,have the best time ever!
 
Good advise to be sure. I'm thinking a few tank tops, bathing suit, a change of underware and I should be good. But the wife will be a different story .....LOL. She will pack like we are going to a formal ball in a hurricane. I was told to being my own beer so as not to get ripped off at the local package good store
