Where can I mount a 7610 Garmin fish finder on a 232 gulfstream. The present main control cabinet it to tiny. Had anyone ever modified the cabinet?
11 3/8" Width x 8 1/8" Height x 3" with a 10" screen.
Any ideas are welcome.

How about to the underside of your electronics box with a bracket. The PO of mine filled in the dash box with king starboard and flush mounted. Not bad, but I would have liked to have had the box....

I am not familiar with your specific boat but, on my 272 I removed the 'glass' from the lower 'glove box' and cut starboard to fit and flush mounted my 7610. I searched this forum and found some ideas. It isn't the cleanest of installations but, I likely saved hundreds by doing it myself. It is a fishing boat for me so, looks weren't top priority. I will likely redo it a little cleaner at some point.

I love my 7610. I just picked up an 8212 MFD to interface with it. I cannot wait to get it mounted too.

Thanks I was thinking the same and yes fishing is the priority!
